While trekking in the Annapurna Circuit, you will see the small yet beautiful village called Pisang Village. This village is divided in the Lower Pisang and the Upper Pisang. Even thou most of the trekkers and the guide don’t stop by but the hospitality of this area is considered as the top notched. This small trekking post will give you the most beautiful experience of your visit. The guesthouse and the families are kind and warm welcoming. And it’s the best way to learn about the local Himalayan culture and lifestyle.

You can reach this beautiful destination either on foot or by Jeep (though the road is bumpy). Both of Lower Pisang and Upper Pisang have several guesthouses run by Gurung and Managi people. They show their utmost gratitude and hospitality to the guests. If you are lucky enough, you will get a chance to see the local people wearing their traditional outfits. Being at the Pisang, you can visit the nearby monastery and mesmerize the affront view of Himalayas.
