Manang

Manang Valley is a beautiful village which is close to Nepal – Tibet border and is blessed by Marsyandi River. The beautiful series of mountains and the mountain villages adds the beauty to the trek to Annapurna Circuit. The village has been able to preserve the traditional Tibetan value and culture till these days. The valley has been the famous point for the trekker and traders either going for Thorang La pass or going to Tibet for the trader. Generally, the trekker takes one or two days to acclimatize their body with high altitude. During their stay, they go to nearby smaller villages and explore gompas and monasteries to explore the culture and its people. There is the oldest monastery in Manang called Braga Monastery which is 45 minutes’ walk from Manag. You can also hike to Ice Lake and the stunning view of Annapurna IV. You can also climb to Gangapurna Lake and Glacier which is 15 minutes’ walk from the valley.  The view from the top to the valley and mountains are spectacular to behold.
