Lobuche
Lobuche, a small settlement at an altitude of 4940m in the Khumbu region. This one of the last overnight stop for the trekkers who are going for the Everest Base Camp Trek. Further hike from Lobuche leads to Gorakhshep, which also have the lodging facilities for the trekkers. For the epic view of Mt Everest, one hike to Kala Patthar which is near to Lobuche. The lodging facilities at Lobuche is primitive with the stone house only. In recent years, there are some establishments with modern means of facilities. Some lodges provide Internet and Oxygen facilities too.
In the month of April, this place gets more lively and crowded with trekkers, porters and guide going for Everest Base Camp Trekking. The supplies to this place are moved with the help of Yak and other means like helicopter, porters etc.
