Khumbutse

Khumbutse is the first mountain which lies west of Mt Everest, 6 km away. This mountain lies in between the Nepal and China border. As this mountain lies above the Khumbu valley, the mountain is called Khumbutse which mean Khumbu mountain (tse). Below this mountain, Khumbu glacier flows.  It is one of the most seen mountains from various places during Everest Base Camp Trek. The best view of this mountain can be observed from the Gorakshep.
