Junbesi
Junbesi is a beautiful Sherpa village situated at an altitude of 2700m in the Lower Solukhumbu Region. The landscape and its nature are astonishingly beautiful. The people are rich with its unique culture and tradition. It is the most important junction for the trekkers travelling to Everest Base Camp Trek or Pikey Peak trek.
In Junbesi, there is the oldest monastery in the Solukhumbu Region called Junbesi Monastery. Dumji Festival is the main festival celebrated with great enthusiasm by local people.
