Jagat

Jagat was a toll station, which used to collect the fees and taxes from the traders going for the Tibet. It was the one of the route for salt trade to Tibet through Marshyangdi River. The altitude of this destinati 1270m from the sea level. The surrounding areas are covered with the forest of Chilaune, Chestnuts and Pink Siris. There are some decent lodges for an overnight stay and good local people.
