Gorkha Durbar

Gorkha Durbar is perched on the mountain ridge at an altitude 1210m from where we can have the most significant view over Trishuli Valley and mountains soaring in the horizon. Gorkha Durbar is not just only a durbar, it’s a temple as well as stronghold fort which was built during war period with various small feudal kingdoms. This is the place where the spark of unification camp fell and united Nepal as a one.

The panoramic view of Annapurna, Manaslu and Ganesh Himal can be observed from here on a clear day. Apart from the natural beauty that can be observed from this durbar area, it is also rich in the cultural and religious aspect, the artistic architecture of this palace is a masterpiece for art lover while the various pilgrims see this palace with reverence because of Kalika Temple and Gorakhnath Temple.
