Boudhanath Stupa
Boudhanath Stupa is one of the largest stupas in the world. This biggest mandala structure is unique on its religious and cultural importance. It is located 11 km from the centre and northeast side of Kathmandu. This UNESCO world heritage site is a famous Buddhist pilgrims site. It lies on the ancient trade route in between Tibet and Kathmandu. Later on, with civilization, this place was converted as a tourist destination carrying historical and religious importance.
