Trip Overview
Langtang Gosainkunda Helambu Trek lies in 20 miles north to Kathmandu. Langtang is a narrow sandwiched valley, north from Kathmandu. The small Langtang valley bordering with Tibet in the north and small snowy peaks in the south. The people in Langtang valley are mostly Tamangs whose culture goes back to ancient times to their origins in Tibet. From here you can see the stunning view of the different Himalayas like Langtang Liguria, Ganesh Himal, etc. It is a less crowded area in the trekking route.
Langtang Goshainkunda Helambu trek is only just for 17 days where you go up to the altitude of 4350 M so trekker graded as moderate trekking route. Your trek starts from Syafrubeshi where all the trekking route starts in Langtang region. The important mountains in Langtang trekking are Langtang Lirung 7246m, Gang Chhenpo 6388m, Naya Kangri 5846m and Dorje Lakpa 6966m. Other mountains like Himchuli, Manaslu and Ganesh Himal, as well as the Shishapangma mountain of Tibet, are also seen from some parts of Langtang trekking. Just next to Langtang valley is the beautiful Gosainkunda Lake, also an important Hindu pilgrimage site. The best season for trekking is Sep to Dec & Feb to May.

After breakfast you move for sightseeing Pashupatinath Temple (temple of lord god Shiva), Swayambunath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square And many more places of Kathmandu valley. You back to the hotel and preparation for trek and stay overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Syabrubeshi
After breakfast, you headed toward Syabrubeshi. It’s a long drive of 6/7 hours. From Syabrubeshi you can see the stunning view of Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal and peaks of Langtang regions. Stay overnight at Syabrubeshi.

Day 4: Syabrubeshi to Lama Hotel
After breakfast, you gear up for Lama Hotel. On the way, you pass through Crossing Bhotekoshi River and following Langtang River and passing through Bamboo, suspension bridges and landslides. After a walk of 7/8 hour, you finally reach to Lama Hotel. Stay overnight at Lama Hotel.

Day 5: Lama Hotel to Langtang village
After breakfast, you move towards Langtang village. After 3/4 hours of walk, you reach to Ghoda Tabela. You take a couple of hours for rest and again gear up for Langtang village. On the way, you see the beautiful scenery of Langtang Village, Langtang RI, and Langtang Lirung. Stay overnight at Langtang Village.

Day 6: Langtang village to Kyanjing Gompa
After breakfast, you headed up for Kyanjing Gompa. Kyanjing Gompa is your final destination place of Langtang Valley Trek. After you reach Kyanjing Gompa you can visit Yak cheese Factory, Kyanjing Monastery, and local houses. And chances to know the culture and tradition of people stay here. Stay overnight at Kyanjing Gompa.

Day 11: Sing Gompa to Goshainkunda
After breakfast, you headed for Goshainkunda which is a religious place for both Hindu & Buddhism. On the way, you can see the breathtaking views of different Himalayas Himal Chuli, Manaslu range, Ganesh Himal range, Tibetan peak, and Langtang Lirung. After passing the huts and high pastures of Lauribinayak you finally reach to GoshainKunda where there are dozen of lakes in GoshainKunda Basin. Stay overnight at GoshainKunda.
