Trip Overview
Manaslu is the 8th highest peak of the world which lies in the west-central part of Nepal. It has the soaring height of 8156 M above the sea level and often known as “Mountain of Spirit”. It lies in the Lamjung district of Nepal just 40 miles east of Annapurna Region. Japanese always consider Manaslu as their Mountain being first climbed by Japanese Expedition team in 1956 AD.
Manaslu Expedition is a great challenge itself because of its steep landscapes but its long ridges and valley glaciers provide feasible approaches from every area to reach the climax of that peak. While climbing this peak (Manaslu Expedition) the route are straight with some technical regions. So we set 4 camps during this Manaslu Expedition and we trail steadily and safely. Manaslu Expedition begins with few stretches and crevasses to slippery snow climbing with chances of avalanches and finally on top of it. One must have good experience of previous Rock climbing as well as ice climbing over 7000 M. Manaslu Expedition is often considered as the best alternative for Cho Oyu and Everest Training campaign in the autumn season.

Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing
Today you are going to explore the several cultural and natural sightseeing in this ancient city Pashupatinath, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambunath Stupa and Kathmandu Durbar Square. After exploring these places you will do preparation for trek. Overnight at Hotel, Kathamndu.

Day 4: Drive Kathmandu to Soti Khola

Day 5: Trek Soti Khola to Machha Khola
Today you leave Soti Khola with short exploration around and headed to Machha Khola. Along the way, you will pass by beautiful sal forest, ridges, small waterfalls, etc and finally settle at the small village of Machha Khola. Overnight at Lodge, Machha Khola.

Day 9: Acclimatization Day

Day 12: Preparation Day

Expedition day for the climber. Climb to Camp I usually takes between 2-4 hours. We drop off a load and return to Base Camp the same day. The day 12-38 is the day to scale the mountains and return back to the base camp of Manaslu.
