Trip Overview
Shishapangma (8013 M)is the 14th highest mountain in the world. This mountain is also known as Gosainthan which lies entirely within the land of Tibet. Shishapangma is the only eight-thousanders of Tibet, located in south-central of Tibet just 5 km from the border of Nepal. Mt Shishapangma is on the dry north side of the Himalayan crest and further from the lower terrain of Nepal, it has less dramatic vertical relief than most major Himalayan peaks. Shishapangma Expedition was first made successful via the Northern Route on 2 May 1964 by a Chinese expedition led by Xǔ Jìng.

Shishapangma Expedition starts with some cultural sightseeing at Kathmandu valley followed by a drive to Nyalam via Kodari then drive to Chinese Base Camp after which your Shishapangma expedition starts. Shishapangma Expedition is comparatively moderate than the other eight-thousanders but it also requires the skills, techniques as well as experience. Physicality is also mandatory.

Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing
Today you are going to explore the several cultural and natural sightseeing in this ancient city Pashupatinath, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambunath Stupa and Kathmandu Durbar Square. After exploring these places you will do preparation for trek. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Preparation Day

Day 4: Drive from Kathmandu to Zhangmu (4500 M) via Kodari
Today you gonna headed to Zhangmu. After the immigration procedure at the Nepal/China Border at Kodari, then you drive all the way to Zhangmu. Along the way, you enjoy several stops and villages including majestic vistas of Himalayas. Stay overnight at Zhangmu.

Day 5: Zhangmu to Nyalam

Day 6: Rest day at Nyalam
