Upon your arrival at Kathmandu Internation Airport, you are welcomed by our company representative. Then, you are transferred to the hotel. Overnight at hotel, Kathmandu.
Today, you are exploring the medieval wonders of Kathmandu. You will visit Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swoyambunath Stupa and Kathmandu Durbar Square. The remaining time is for trek preparation. Overnight at hotel, Kathmandu.
After breakfast, you will be heading towards Bhandar by bus. It will take about 8 to 9 hrs. The bus will go up to Bhandar. Overnight at Lodge, Bhandar.
After breakfast, you follow the trail from Bhandar through deep forests crossing a few streams passing the small village of Dokharpa and Baranda. Passing through the forests, Surma Khola, Likhu Khola Valley, the small settlement of Kenja, Chimbu and continuing further you finally reach Sete. Overnight at Lodge, Sete.
After breakfast, you headed to Lamjura La (the highest point between Jiri and Namche Bazaar), then to Dagchu and Goyem passing through to Tragdobuk and Junbesi. This trek offers you a panoramic view of the surrounding green mountains and exploring the villages and their lifestyle. Overnight at Lodge, Junbesi.
After breakfast, you gear up and head to Nunthala through the forest slope and after an hour's trek, the beautiful views of the mountains including Everest can be seen. This is the first view of Everest on this trek. Continue the trail to Salung to Ringmo Khola Ringmo, Trakshindo La pass and descend to Trashingdo. After another hour's descent through conifer and rhododendron forests, and terraced fields, you finally take your shoes off at Nuntala. Overnight at Lodge, Nuntala.
After breakfast, you move down the trail to the Dudh Koshi River and move up upward to Khumbu and through Jubing, Churkha, Kharikhola. Another steep climb finally takes us to Bupsa. Overnight at Lodge, Bupsa.
After breakfast, you walk through Kharte, Khari La pass, Puiyan and go through the ups and downs to Surke. Overnight at Lodge, Surke.
After breakfast, you climb toward Chaurikharka. Initially, the trek moves up to Chhiplung. Then the trail moves down to Phakding. Overnight at Lodge, Phakding.
After breakfast, you will be walking through a beautiful pine forest, along the Dudh Koshi River. You will arrive at the check post and entrance to Sagarmatha National Park. Then we pass through the last village of Jorsale and following the trail through the forests and bridges until we reach the confluence of the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers. After a final steep climb of about two hours, you get first sight of Mt. Everest peering over the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge. From there we still need to hike about 1.5 hours to reach Namche Bazaar, a gateway to Mt. Everest and main trading centre of this region. Overnight in Lodge, Namche Bazaar.
Today is an acclimatization day especially programmed taking care of your health. This day is a rest day and you can explore Sagarmatha National Park or Namche Baazar and Khumjung Valley. It offers you internet, cafes, shops, restaurant, bakery and other where you can hang out and feel better for next day hike. Overnight in Lodge, Namche Bazaar.
After breakfast in Namche, you start your trek towards Tengboche enjoying the superb view of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam and close up view of Thamserku. Enjoying wildlife like pheasant, musk deer, and a herd of Himalayan Thar, through alpine forests, Dudh Koshi River, you reach to Phunki Thenga where you will have lunch. Then the trail steeps up through the pine forests while before you reach to Tengboche. Tengboche is a great place for close up views of Ama-Dablam, Nuptse, and Everest and a biggest Buddhist Monastery in Khumbu region which we will visit too. Overnight at a lodge, Tengboche.
After breakfast, you will gear up for our day hike to Dingboche. You will pass through several Chortens and Mani walls and small villages. The place where you stop for lunch not only serves delicious food but also allows a fantastic close-up view of Mt Ama Dablam. From here onwards, the walk is fairly moderate as you enter the Imja Valley to Lobuche River. You will descend into the river and begin the steep climb of the day up to Dingboche. On arrival at Dingboche, you will see a beautiful array of fields enclosed by stone walls to protect barley, buckwheat and potatoes from the cold winds and grazing animals. Enjoy overnight stay at Lodge, Dingboche.
After breakfast, you start the day with a climb to through the Khumbu Khola valley to Phulung Karpo; above which is Chola Lake. As you move on, the majestic view of Mt. Pumori (7138 m/ 23418 ft) comes into view. After crossing a small wooden bridge, you ascend to Duglha. From there you can see the tip of Mt Nuptse, Mt Cholatse, Mt Thamserku and several other magnificent peaks. Spending a night in Duglha is ideal for acclimatization purposes. Overnight at Lodge, Duglha.
After breakfast, you climb up the steep moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. At the top of the ridge of Chupki Lhara, you will find an array of stones with prayer flags used as memorials to Scott Fischer (American mountaineer) and 10 times Everest submitter Babu Chiri Sherpa (a Nepali mountain guide) who perished on a mission to climb Everest. As the trail drops to the Khumbu Glacier moraine, you find yourselves facing several great peaks. You are now in the surrounding of Everest but the great mountain still remains elusive. Overnight at Lodge, Lobuche.
After breakfast, you continue your journey through Khumbu Glacier to Thangma Riju from where 360 degree views of mountains can be observed. Climbing steeply up to the top through the torrent of Changri Glacier, you catch your first glimpse of Kala Patthar, a grey-green knoll beneath the Mt. Pumori and you will be at Gorakshep finding snow-capped mountains bright all around us including Mt. Everest. Finally, you are at your destination. Mountaineer's tents stand out in bright colours against the monotony of grey surroundings. Nuptse, Khumbuste and Pumori are the mountains that can be viewed from the base camp. You will explore Everest Base Camp and clicked some pictures. Overnight at Lodge, Gorakshep.
After breakfast you climb 2-3 hrs. up to Kala Patthar (5545 m/18192 ft) to see first day sun light from top of the world (Mt. Everest) This is milestone of the trek to inspect panoramic view with the fantastic sunrise over Mt. Everest, Mt. Pumori, Mt. Lingtren, Khumbutse, Changtse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nupte, Mt. Ama Dablam and capture some beautiful moment on your camera and many more. After accomplishing Kala Patthar, trek down to Gorakshep and retrace down to Pheriche to the warmer and better night sleep. Overnight at lodge, Pheriche. .
After breakfast, you will walk all the way back to Namche Bazaar. Enjoy the beautiful sunrays at the cap of mountains, feels like tear-bursting. After a long hike, Stay overnight at Namche Bazaar.
After breakfast, you trail down to Lukla from where you had started your real hike. The trail descends steeply downward so we need to walk slowly and under control as our shaky legs continuously battle the rocky terrain. Way down through Sherpa villages noticing impressive faith in Buddhism and culture of prayer stones and prayers flag, you feel completely different views. Upon arrival in Lukla, you stretch those aches and sore body parts and recall the experiences of the last couple of weeks. you experience the culmination of a fantastic trek on a happy note with everyone back safe and sound with a smile on faces. Overnight at Lodge, Lukla.
After breakfast, you fly back to Kathmandu and do some shopping for gifts, memory, collections and some traditional items and they all rest at a single venue, Thamel. There will be a small party upon the successful campaign. Overnight at Hotel, Kathmandu.
Free till final departure. Drop at the airport as per the flight scheduled.
