You will be warmly welcomed by Well Nepal Treks representative at your arrival in Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu and escorted you to the hotel and our representative describes the itinerary of your tour. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Today you are going to explore the several cultural and natural sightseeing in this ancient city Pashupatinath, Boudhanah Stupa, Swayambunath Stupa and Kathmandu Durbar Square. After exploring this places you will do preparation for trek. Stay overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, you will head toward Tribhuwan airport to fly for Lukla. It is about 40 min. flight above the great green and white mountains. After you reach Lukla airport our other team member will meet you there and help in your packing and other arrangement and then you will head through the beautiful village of Lukla till you reach Phakding
After breakfast you will be walking through a beautiful pine forest, along the Dudh Koshi River, you will see the wonderful prospect of the Mt. Thamserku (6618 m), you will arrive at the check post and entrance to Sagarmatha National Park. Then we pass through the last village of Jorsale and following the trail through the forests and bridges until we reach the confluence of the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers. After a final steep climb of about two hours you get first sight of Mt. Everest peering over the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge. From there we still need to hike about 1.5 hours to reach Namche Bazaar, a gateway to Mt. Everest and main trading centre of this region. Stay overnight in Namche Bazaar.
This day is acclimatization day especially programmed taking care of your health. This day is a rest day and you can explore Sagarmatha National Park or Namchebazar and Khumjung Valley. It offers you internet, cafes, shops, restaurant, bakery and other where you can hang out and feel better for next day hike.
After breakfast in Namche, you start your trek towards Tengboche enjoying superb view of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam and close up view of Thamserku. Enjoying wild lives like pheasant, musk deer, or a herd of Himalayan Thar, through alpine forests, Dudh Koshi River, you reach to Phunki Thenga where you will have lunch then steep up through the pine forests while before you reach to Tengboche. Tengboche is a great place for close up views of Ama-Dablam, Nuptse, and Everest and a biggest Buddhist Monastery in Khumbu region which we will visit too. After long trek you will stay overnight at lodge at Tengboche.
After breakfast you will gear up for our day hike to Dingboche. You will pass through several Chortens and Mani walls and small villages. The place where you stop for lunch not only serves delicious food but also allows a fantastic close-up view of Mt Ama Dablam. From here onwards, the walk is fairly moderate as you enter the Imja Valley to Lobuche River. You will descend into the river and begin the steep climb of the day up to Dingboche. On arrival at Dingboche, you will see beautiful array of fields enclosed by stone walls to protect barley, buckwheat and potatoes from the cold winds and grazing animals. Enjoy overnight stay at Dingboche.
After Breakfast you start the day with a climb to through the Khumbu Khola valley to Phulung Karpo Above which is Chola Lake. As you move on, the majestic view of Mt. Pumori (7138 m/ 23418 ft) comes into view. After crossing a small wooden bridge, you ascend to Duglha. From there you can see the tip of Mt Nuptse, Mt Cholatse, Mt Thamserku and several other magnificent peaks. Spending a night in Duglha is ideal for acclimatization purposes. Stay overnight in guesthouse at Duglha.
After breakfast you climb up the steep moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. At the top of the ridge of Chupki Lhara, you will find an array of stones with prayer flags used as memorials to Scott Fischer (American mountaineer) and 10 times Everest submitter Babu Chiri Sherpa (a Nepali mountain guide) who perished on a mission to climb Everest. As the trail drops to the Khumbu Glacier moraine, you find yourselves facing several great peaks. You are now in the surrounding of Everest. You trail down to Lobuche via Kongma La. Stay overnight at Lobuche.
After breakfast you continue your journey through Khumbu Glacier to Thangma Riju from where 360 degree views of mountains can be observed. Climbing steeply up to the top through the torrent of Changri Glacier, you catch your first glimpse of Kala Patthar, a grey-green knoll beneath the Mt. Pumori and you will be at Gorakshep finding snow-capped mountains bright all around us including Mt. Everest. Stay overnight at Gorakshep.
After breakfast you climb 2-3 hrs. up to Kala Patthar (5545 m/18192 ft) to see first day sunlight from top of the world (Mt. Everest) This is milestone of the trek to inspect panoramic view with the fantastic sunrise over Mt. Everest, Mt. Pumori, Mt. Lingtren, Khumbutse, Changtse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nupte, Mt. Ama Dablam and capture some beautiful moment on your camera and many more. After accomplish Kala Patthar, trek down to Gorakshep. Stay overnight at Gorakshep
After breakfast, you will trek all the way to Cho La Pass (5420 M) enjoying the majestic Himalayas, amazing landscapes, small rivers, stunning vistas of Lobuche east and west, Cholatse, Taboche, and beautiful sky. Stay overnight at Cho La
After breakfast you will trek all the way to one of the highest pass of Everest region called Renjo La pass via the village of Gokyo and explore both of them. Stay overnight at Renjo La Pass.
This day is set for acclimatization but we get our body moving. So, you climb Gokyo Ri to enjoy the beautiful Everest region. Gokyo is famous for the six lakes which it hosts. You will observe the fourth lake (Thonak Tsho) and fifth lake (Ngozuma Tsho) and come back to Gokyo village. Stay overnight at Gokyo.
After breakfast you will trail downward through a ridge Chorten from where valley of Mt. Kangtega, Thamserku, and northern part to the Cho-Oyu (8153m) are seen. Making your way through Pangka (4480m), Ngozamba Glacier, Longpongo Lake (4690m), Taboche Tsho Lake and you explore around the third Lake, Dudh Pokhari you reach at Dudh Pokhari. Stay overnight at Machhermo.
After breakfast you continue your trek down via Dole, Lhabarma and Luza, finally you reach at Phorse Village. This day offers very spectacular view of wildlife and vegetations, vistas of mountains like Cho Oyu, Kantega, and Thamserk, you reach Village of Phorse. Stay overnight at Phorse.
After breakfast in Phorse, you head trailing up to Kayangjuma, Sansa through Mongla pass (3975 m), Thamserku, Tawoche and Mt. Khumbila (sacred mountain of the patron god of the Khumbu area), Dudhkosi Khola (3250 m) and finally, you are at Namche Bazaar. Stay overnight at Namche Bazaar.
Today is an acclimatization day so you can explore its surrounding and mail your parents and friends. Stay overnight at Namche Bazaar.
After breakfast you now trail down to Lukla from where you started your real hike. The trail descends steeply downward so we need to walk slowly and under control as our shaky legs continuously battle the rocky terrain. Way down through Sherpa villages noticing impressive faith in Buddhism and culture of prayer stones and prayers flag, you feel completely different views. Upon arrival in Lukla, you stretch those aches and sore body parts and recall the experiences of the last couple of weeks. you experience the culmination of a fantastic trek on a happy note with everyone back safe and sound with smile on faces. Stay overnight in Lukla.
After breakfast you fly back to Kathmandu and do some shopping for gifts, memory, collections and some traditional items and they all rests at a single venue, Thamel. There will be a small party upon the successful campaign.Stay overnight at hotel.
Free till the final departure. Drop at the airport as per the flight scheduled.
