Trip Overview
Hiunchuli peak 6441m is a difficult challenging trekking peak in the Annapurna region and it is connected to Annapurna South. Hiunchuli peak is one of the three major trekking peaks within the "Annapurna Sanctuary", to be named by Col. Jimmy Roberts. The mountains of this area are considered sacred by the Gurungs who inhabit the region. The other two peaks within the sanctuary are Tharpu Chuli (Tent Peak) and Singu Chuli (Fluted Peak). Its eastern face overlooks the Modi Khola and guards the entrance to the Annapurna Sanctuary.
This peak is one of the difficult peak climbings in Nepal which can be climbed from both southeast face and northwest face as well. It is not considered as difficult technically but there is always a risk of rock falling. Even though it offers major new route potentials, it has received little attention from mountaineers and is rarely climbed. It was first climbed in 1971 by An American Peace Corps Expedition from the southeast face.

Day 1: Kathmandu Arrival
You will be warmly greeted by Well Nepal at your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu and escorted to hotel. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Kathmandu Tour and trek Preparation (1360m)
Today you are going to explore the several cultural and natural sightseeing in this ancient city Pashupatinath, Boudhanah Stupa, Swayambunath Stupa and Kathmandu Durbar Square. After exploring this places you will do preparation for trek. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Pokhara to Ulleri (2000m).
After you arrive at Pokhara either by air or bus, you will headed to Nayapul by private car which is one hour drive and same day trek to Ulleri. Stay overnight at Ulleri.

Day 4: Ulleri to Ghorepani (2750 M)
Today you will trek to Ghorepani and along its trail you will enjoy spectacular views of Mount Annapurna south (7219m) & Himchuli (6441m) and places like Banthati and Tangethati from where Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167M), highest of Annapurna Region, looks stunning. After a long walk you reach to Ghorepani. Stay overnight at Ghorepani.

Day 5: Ghorepani to Tadapani (2590 M)
Early morning you will be climbing up to Poon Hill (3193M) to see sunrise, and after that beautiful sunrise and 180 degree view of Annapurna Mountains, and return to your lodge for breakfast. Then you continue your trail to Tadapani. Stay overnight at Tadapani.

Day 6: Tadapani to Chhomrong (2340 M)
Today you will follow your trail to Chhomrong. During trek you will pass through beautiful forest, Small and traditional villages called Chuile, Kimrung, Gurjung, Taulung and finally at Chhomrong. Stay overnight at Chhomrong.

Day 7: Chhomrong to Dovan (2505 M) to Deurali (3100 M)
Today you leave Chhomrong this morning and climb up trails to Dovan, you cross small village of Sinuwa Dada and making through beautiful thick Rhododendron forest, Khuldighar and rocky cliff of bamboo you’ll find yourself at Dovan. Then you will headed for Deurali. Along the way you will be enjoying silence jungle and visit a temple within the same jungle. Enjoying some waterfalls and a lake called Hinku you reach at Deurali and have good rest there. Stay overnight at Deurali.

Day 8: Deurali to Machhapuchhare Base Camp to Annapurna Base Camp (4130 M)
Following trails through rugged path, a bit dangerous for avalanches, you will find yourself in Machhapuchhare Base camp with few lodges. From here you will keep on walking up through grassy land for two hours and you are at Annapurna Base Camp. Stay overnight at Annapurna Base Camp.
