Trip Overview
Guerrilla Trek is one of the new tourist attraction in the western region of Nepal, namely Rolpa and Rukum. Guerrilla Trek as it features the trails once used by Maoists during the peoples' war in Nepal. The Guerrilla Trek offers the scenic panoramas, including the impressive Dhaulagiri and Gurja Himal. It boasts of the country’s only hunting reserve, Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve. The views from Jaljala, are stunningly beautiful and allows the trekkers to interact with the innocent locals. People here are virgins by the realms of modernization.
The guerrilla trekking trail of the Rukum-Rolpa is virgin land and extremely difficult for the outside world over a decade during the long people’s war. The land is known as the most playground for revolutionary people, their perfect hideout and running their own government. The small yet naturally beautiful place is now open and heartily welcoming people from outside. The place is blessed with rich flora and fauna, unmatchable natural beauty, and adventurous trails once used by Guerillas during the Nepalese Civil War that ended in 2006.

Itinerery
Day 1: Kathmandu arrival (1360 M)
You will be warmly greeted by Well Nepal Treks at your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu and you will be escorted to the hotel. After your formalities at the hotel, you will be given a short briefing on your accommodation and other facilities at the hotel followed by a short briefing for Tomorrow program. Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing
Today you are going to explore the several cultural and natural sightseeing in this ancient city Pashupatinath, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambunath Stupa, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. After exploring these places you will know the cultural and religious value. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Kathmandu to Pokhara and half day sightseeing

Day 5: Pokhara to Takam
After breakfast, you continue your journey by driving to Beni and Darbang and from here you start walking to Takam which takes about 3 hour walk away enjoying the great scenery of Gurjal Himal towering right above us. Stay overnight at Takam.

Day 6: Takam to Lamsung

Day 7: Lamsung to Gurjaghat
After breakfast you headed to Gurjaghat passing through the dense pine forests and experience to see the musk dear also the point of the meadows along with superb views of Dhaulagiri range up to Churen Himal in the west you arrive at Gurjaghat. Stay overnight at Gurjaghat.

Day 8: Gurjaghat to Dhorpatan
After breakfast you now leave this area and enter Baglung district then continue our walk for a few hour takes us to the Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve where you can see mountain goats and blue sheep’s (Bharal). Enjoy Dhorpatan Hunting reserve. Stay overnight at Dhorpatan.

Day 9: Dhorpatan to Nisi Dhor
After breakfast you trail to Nisi Dhor . You will be with the eye-catching views of Pheasants and several birds. This place is also called as trekker’s paradise because if you trek in the monsoon then you can see several cows’ sheds but in the winter this area rests as desert. Stay over night at Nisi Dhor.

Day 10: Nisi Dhor to Tallo Sera
After breakfast you depart for Tallo Sera. You will pass by Baglung to Rukum and enter the former Maoist base area which is thick forested area. Finally you settle at Tallo Sera which is a beautiful Magar Village. Stay overnight at Tallo Sera.

Day 11: Tallo Sera to Rujhi khola

Day 12: Rujhi khola and Trek Thabang
After breakfast, you start your trails to the Thabang village which is the place where Maoist revolution started which also killed many local people by the attacks of ‘tora bora’ mortar shells dropped from helicopters. Despite the hardship the local people of this area are friendly and warm-hearted. Stay overnigth at Thabang.

Day 13: Thabang to Jal Jale
After breakfast you depart from Thabang to Jal jale La via Lumsum and small village called Moreni. Jal jale La is alpine grass land atop a ridge where you can experience the panoramic views of Dhaulagiri range. People living in this region follow the Tibetan culture due to the close link with Tibet. Stay overnight at Jal Jale.
