Tilicho Lake(4949 M ) is the lake at the highest altitude in the world lies on the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal. Tilicho Lake is quite a challenging trekking route but is one of the finest trekking routes in the Annapurna region. This trek offers a scenic view of the Annapurna circuit with sublime natural beauty, cultural and traditional values, stunning waterfalls, and attractive floras and faunas.
This Tilicho Lake Trek is considered as one of the most popular hikes of Annapurna Circuit but takes an additional 4 days to reach Tilicho Base Camp. This trek is demanding which makes its popularity even high. There are no tea houses or lodges past the Tilicho Base Camp. Lodge some kilometers east of the lake and the next village of Thini Gaon in the Kali Gandaki valley. Most groups spend two nights between these places. There are two passes leading to Thini Gaon and Jomsom, Mesokanto La and Tilicho North pass known also as Tilicho "Tourist pass".
