Trip Overview
Mardi Himal Peak Climbing (5587m) is the shortest and probably the easiest peaks of Nepal. It lies 15 miles north of Pokhara at Annapurna region. Mardi Himal Peak Trek offers an opportunity to explore villages and endless diversity of culture along with spectacular Mountain scenery. This is a perfect trekking trail for trekkers who loves remote wilderness, less crowded and pristine beauty in a peaceful environment.
The southwest face of the mountain has three well-defined ridges rising from rock buttresses and separated by hanging glaciers. From the summit, you can see splendid vistas of the Annapurna Range, the Fishtail Mountain, Mt Dhaulagiri and Mt. Machhapuchhre and the valleys down with rhododendron forest.
To reach Mardi Himal Peak Climbing, you drive about 6/7 hour from Kathmandu valley to Pokhara. And again from there, you start our trek through Deurali, beautiful villages and forested areas to this Mardi Base camp. You will be passing through agricultural area, green paddy fields, thick rhododendron forests, and small ancient villages with typical Nepali lifestyle untouched by any modernization, beautiful snow-capped mountain and many more. Since there is no sign of accommodation facilities, you will be making a bed and meal by yourself which will be a whole new fun. The grade of this climbing will be medium. Spring and autumn are the best seasons for this climbing trek.

Day 1: Kathmandu Arrival
You will be warmly greeted by Well Nepal at your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu and escorted to the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Kathmandu Tour and trek Preparation (1360m)
Today you are going to explore the several cultural and natural sightseeing in this ancient city Pashupatinath, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambunath Stupa, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. After exploring these places you will do preparation for trek. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Pokhara to Deurali
After you arrive at Pokhara either by air or bus, you visit Pokhara. Lakeside is very famous for boating, restaurants, shopping, cycling and many more. Then, you pass through Kande, Australian Camp (2060m – About one hour), then downhill to Pothana (1950m) and to the village of Deurali. It is a typical village where most of the people are Brahmans. stay overnight at Deurali.

Day 4: Deurali to Forest Camp (2600m)
Today you will leave this village following the trail through the jungle. The jungle is thick but full of fun also you need to be careful with extended roots and high rocks. As you move on the trail goes steeply down and later it gains height and into Forest Camp (2600m) after about 4-hour trekking. Stay overnight at Forest Camp.

Day 5: Forest Camp to Low Camp (3100m)
The trail you follow to get to low camp is deep rain tracks i.e. Gullies where your walk should be very attentive and careful. The trail is initially quite steep as you follow the trails to low camp and gets steeper and steeper. After about half an hour, you see spectacular Annapurna South high and wide. The path continues through scrub forest, Meadow, deep Valleys and you can see Modi Khola River Valley, Seti river valley and villages leading to Annapurna Sanctuary at around us. It is possible to see all the way back to the Pokhara Valley and Lake Phewa if the weather is clean and clear. The flora and fauna have turned to classic cloud forest with mosses and lichen. As you climb there are natural windows in the woods that view out onto thrilling. Stay overnight at Low Camp.

Day 6: Low camp to Mardi Base Camp to Mardi High Base Camp (3900m)
The way up from Low Camp to High Camp is very steep and the trail itself is basically a series of deep rain gullies in the forest so we need to be careful with our footing. You will see Hiunchuli Peak and the knife-sharp traverse towards Annapurna South. Far below, you can see Modi Khola Valley leading up into the Annapurna Sanctuary (Left) and magnificent Fishtail at very close. The trek continues and finally you take our shoes off at Mardi Base Camp then you take some brief demo on climbing from our guides and climb this peak and tent at High camp.

Day 7: Mardi High Base Camp to Summit and back to Mardi Base Camp
You headed to climbing through steep paths we arrive at the summit of this peak from where magnificent view Annapurna Range, the Fishtail Mountain, Mt Dhaulagiri, and Mt. Machhapuchhre and the valleys down with rhododendron forest is seen. You take pictures and enjoy the moment and head back to Mardi Base Camp. Stay overnight at Mardi Base Camp.
