We drive early in the morning to Surkhet, 100 km from Kohalpur. It takes around 2 hours 30 minutes. From surkhet its another 150 km ride to Manma, the headquarter of Kalikot district. Most of the road is smooth and its take the whole day to reach Manma. Your drive will be through the Sal Forest before reaching the destination. Overnight at Lodge, Kalikot.

Drive starts early in the morning. Most of the road is offbeat. You will travel by the edge of Karnali River, some villages and forests for 4 hours before reaching Talcha Airport. From Talcha Airport, its 20 minutes drive to a small settlement where we stop our vehicle. From here we trek for 2 hours to reach the settlement near Rara Lake. Overnight at Rara.
